Your tool inputs stay in your browser. Crate does not upload files or text for processing.

What the application handles

Files you choose and text you type are held in the page’s memory while you use a tool. Results are produced locally. Downloads are initiated by you. Leaving or reloading the page discards application state; copies you download remain on your device.

What a hosting provider sees

Loading a website still requests its HTML, scripts, styles, and images from a hosting provider. That provider may receive ordinary request data such as your IP address, requested path, and browser details, and may keep operational logs. File contents and pasted text are not included in those requests by this application.

Counting visits, not people

The public site loads Umami, which counts page views so we know which tools are worth improving. It sets no cookies, builds no advertising profile, and cannot follow you to another site. Each view sends the page you opened plus ordinary request details such as referrer, screen size, and coarse location — never a file you chose, text you typed, or a result you produced, because those never leave your browser at all.

Beyond that, Crate installs no advertising trackers, third-party fonts, application cookies, or persistent storage of your inputs. A private preview loads no analytics; its hosting access layer may require authentication and manage its own cookies.

Agent access

WebMCP tools can process supplied inputs and read the visible result. If you use an external agent, that agent may see the input and result and handle them under its own provider’s policy. Only ask an agent to process information you intend to share with it.

Browser limits

This privacy description covers the Crate application. It cannot control your browser extensions, operating system, clipboard history, downloads folder, or third-party agent provider.
